Answer: If you are a citizen of the any of the following countries:-
“Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vatican”
You will be allowed to enter the UAE for a period of 30 days upon arrival at any air, land or sea border point.
If you are a national of any of the GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia) you do not require a UAE visa.
If you are not from any of the listed countries, and your paper has been accepted, then we will be more than happy to provide you with a letter to support your visa application at the nearest UAE consulate or embassy.

Question: Is there a best paper award for the conference?
Answer: Yes. And No. There will be eight "Best in Track" awards given to the best paper in each of the eight conference tracks. Additionally, one "Best Student Paper" award will be given to the best overall paper presented by a graduate student.
Eligibility:
- Only full papers submitted and presented at the conference will be considered.
- Awards can be given to the first author only (or the presenting author if the first author is unable to attend).
- Student papers must be authored by the student only to be considered for Graduate Student Award.
- An individual cannot win both the Track Best Paper award and Graduate Student Award.
- Both the paper and the presentation will feature in the award selection criteria.
Award Prizes:
For Best In Track (8 awards total) and Top Graduate Student (1 award total)- - Framed Awards Certificate, AED750 pre-paid Middlesex University Dubai credit card and a Middlesex University Dubai gift.
Question: What do the conference fees cover?
Answer: Conference fee covers the following FOR THE PARTICIPANT ONLY:
1. Registration.
2. Lunches for 3 days.
3. Gala Dinner.
4. Conference related material.
All other expenses (personal or for family and friends) are to borne by the delegates.
Question: May I nominate myself for chairing a conference session?
Answer: Session chairs will be nominated at the discretion of the organizing committee.
Question: How many papers can I submit to the conference?
Answer: Usually each candidate is allowed up to 2 research papers to be submitted.
Question: I have co – authored a paper with another researcher. Is it possible for me to attend the conference with the main author?
Answer: Yes as long as you pay the conference registration fees in full.
Question: What format is to be followed for producing conference papers?
Answer: Please visit the ‘instructions for authors’ section on this website for more information.
Question: What is the maximum number of words allowed per paper? (Or pages)
Answer: Usually up to 5000 words or 15 – 20 pages.
Question: Will printed copies of my paper be required on the day of presentation?
You are advised to bring in with you a few copies (about 10) for distribution during your presentation.
Question: In what format should abstracts, papers or presentations be saved?
Answer: Microsoft office compatibility mode. It is also advised to have with you a PDF version of all your material.
Question: Do I need to submit a full paper should my abstract be accepted?
Yes, if you wish to see your paper included in the conference proceedings.
Question: How long will the presentation be?
Answer: Normally around 20 minutes
