Student Exchange Programme |
Have you considered living and studying in London - one of the
world's most exciting cities? Middlesex University has introduced
an exchange programme for undergraduate students at the Dubai and
London campuses. As part of this arrangement, two (2) students who
are enrolled in undergraduate programmes in Dubai can apply for a
year of study at the London campus. Similarly, two London-based
students will be able to come to Dubai on exchange.
Studying overseas can be a life-changing and a truly rewarding
experience. It is one of the best means for personal growth where
one learns about one's self, explores perspectives of a different
culture and makes new friends. The independence, maturity,
adaptability and confidence that you gain while participating in
overseas studies are qualities that make you even more marketable
in the eyes of potential employers and society in general. Plus,
you will never run out of stories to tell your friends and family
at home about your adventures.
To go to London on exchange, you need to be enrolled in an
undergraduate programme at Middlesex University Dubai. Most
students go on exchange during their second year and must apply
while in their first year at Middlesex. Students must make an
application with the Student Office and will need to speak to
their Programme Leader early in the process, as they will need
approval before they can go on exchange.
The financial benefit of participating in the exchange programme
is that students continue to pay their normal fees in Dubai for
the courses they study in London. You will, however, need to pay
for visas, travel, accommodation, insurance and for living
expenses.
Students will undertake a full-time study load (equivalent to 4
modules or 120 credit points) and these will be added to their
enrolment record and will count towards their degree.
If you wish to transfer to London, should contact the Student
Office to complete an application form. Once the application is
approved an Offer Letter is issued. After receiving your Offer
Letter, you will need to consider:
It is important that you plan well in advance as some of these
procedures may take a considerable amount of time. You should also
