We have an extensive range of scholarships and grants to recognise your
outstanding academic achievements and support you in your studies - we support
new and returning students at every stage. The following sections will help you
identify which type of scholarship or grant is right for you.

Academic Excellence Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded to the top 10 new undergraduate applicants.
Academic Excellence Scholarships winners receive between 100% to 20% waiver on
tuition fees at Middlesex University Dubai for the full duration of their
programmes (subject to academic performance and other requirements). These
scholarships are awarded in the Autumn Term (starting September) and are highly
competitive. Apply before 02 September 2010 to be automatically considered for an
academic excellence scholarship!

Rise Up Grants
Rise Up Grants are offered to new undergraduate candidates who are from
financially disadvantaged backgrounds who show potential to rise up and excel.
These scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate evidence of financial
hardship and significant academic achievements along with extra-curricular and
community contributions. Winners are rewarded with 50% to 20% grants towards the
tuition fees at Middlesex University Dubai for the full duration of their
programme (subject to academic performance and other requirements). Application
details are available with our Admissions Office. Apply before 02 September 2010.

Middlesex United Sports Scholarships
The Middlesex United Sports Scholarship has been designed specifically for
students who have shown an aptitude in sporting and academic performance prior
to joining Middlesex and who wish to fulfil their sporting and academic
ambitions whilst at University. This is awarded for success in sport achievement
at national and/or international level in an organised sport (individual or
team) and is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The scholarships
typically offer 50% grants toward tuition fees at Middlesex University Dubai for
the full duration of study (subject to academic performance and other
requirements). Application details are available with our Admissions Office.

Global Excellence Scholarships
Middlesex University Dubai has two Global Excellence Scholarships available to
potential undergraduate international students demonstrating outstanding
academic excellence. Candidates receive 50% scholarships towards annual tuition
fees at Middlesex for the full duration of their programmes. Recipients must
demonstrate exceptional results in secondary schooling in their home countries
along with leadership in community service and school extracurricular
activities. Application details are available with our Admissions Office. Apply
before 29 July 2010.

Middlesex Graduate Awards
Now Middlesex graduates have even more reasons to become life-long learners. If
you have completed an undergraduate programme at Middlesex University Dubai and
want to enrol for further studies at the postgraduate level, the University will
award you a grant of AED 6,000 which you can use towards your postgraduate
tuition fees. You may use these grants towards any of our postgraduate
programmes on offer. Application Deadline: 30 September 2010.

Middlesex Progress Scholarship (IFP Students)
This scholarship is awarded to the top ranking student of the Middlesex
University International Foundation Programme who enrols for an undergraduate
course at the University. The scholarship carries a 50% tuition fee waiver for
the first year of study in any undergraduate programme. IFP students should
definitely consider working towards this scholarship.

Middlesex Elite Scholarships (Current Students)
This prestigious award is presented to the top student in Level 1 and in Level 2
within each School at Middlesex University Dubai. The Elite Scholarship
comprises of a 50% tuition grant which our current students apply towards their
subsequent year of studies.

If you have a member of your immediate family (spouses, siblings and parents)
enrolled as full-fee paying students at Middlesex University Dubai, you can
avail of a 10% grant towards your tuition fees every year.

Distinguished APTECH-Nigeria Graduate Scholarships
In recognition of their high quality of education and achievement, the top
graduate in each APTECH Centre in Nigeria who wants to articulate to Middlesex
Dubai, and is eligible to enrol in Year 2 or Year 3 of our undergraduate
programmes, will receive a 20% scholarship towards tuition fees.
All other ATPECH graduates who articulate to our undergraduate programmes and
are eligible to enroll in Year 2 or Year 3, will receive a 10% tuition grant
(Middlesex University Dubai - APTECH Articulation Grant).

Distinguished EDEXCEL Graduate Grants
Middlesex University Dubai has partnered with EDEXCEL, the UK's largest testing
and academic and vocational qualifications awarding body, to offer special
benefits for graduates of EDEXCEL. This exclusive partnership will allow
candidates who have completed Higher National Diploma or Higher Diploma
qualifications awarded by EDEXCEL to complete our Honours bachelors' degrees
with pre-accreditation. This will enable students to be placed at Level 2 or
Level 3 of an appropriate undergraduate programme. Furthermore graduates of HD/HND
qualifications who wish to articulate to undergraduate programmes at Middlesex
University Dubai will receive a 10% grant towards their tuition fees. To check

Additional Information about Scholarships
All scholarships, grants and awards at Middlesex University Dubai have specific
criteria for eligibility. New students must satisfy all academic and English
language entry requirements for admission prior to being granted a scholarship
or grant. Prospective students are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office
for detailed information.
Scholarship and grants can be used towards Tuition Fees only; they do not
include other costs of studying such as student housing, living expenses,
transportation, field-trips and textbooks. A student may qualify for only one
scholarship scheme per academic year and may not use the scholarship in
conjunction with any other discount scheme. Scholarships are valid only for the
term in which they are offered and cannot be deferred for any reason.
Candidates must satisfy all Academic and English language entry requirements for
admission prior to being granted a scholarship or grant.
Candidates receiving scholarships or grants with continuing benefits must
maintain minimum requirements for attendance and academic performance; failing
which the University may withdraw the award.
All scholarships and grants are valid for students of the Dubai campus only and
cannot be transferred to our London campuses. Students who wish to transfer to
